Canvas prints - how thick are the frames?

The majority of our canvas print frames are 3 cm thick - however, please note that our two smallest sizes (20 x 20 cm and 20 x 30 cm) come with 2 cm frames. Our thick frames provide sturdy and high quality results that minimise the risk of bending or warping over the lifetime of the product.

How do I clean my canvas print?

Sometimes, accidents happen. - from unexpected sprays and splashes, to dust and pets, - your canvas will likely require ongoing maintenance. We recommend softly wiping your canvas with a damp cloth. Do not use a scouring pad, as this can damage the canvas and remove the ink. Read more

Can the canvas be used outside?

Our inks are water based, which does not make the canvas suited for outside use. The wood and canvas will become saturated with moist and start to warp. If you want to hang the canvas outside, it will only remain pretty for one season. Read more

Can I add a text on the canvas?

Yes, this is possible. You can use the comment field in the ordering system to indicate that you want text on the canvas and tell us your desired text, font and position on the canvas. We will send you an example by e-mail for approval.

Can I add a note to the parcel because it is a present?

Yes, of course! In the comment box just tell us that you want us to add a note and write your personal message. We will then add the note to your parcel before it leaves our facility.

Does the canvas come with a hanging kit?

Floating frames

Floating frames offer a professional off-the-frame aesthetic to your canvas print. Our floating frames have an art gallery-style illusion: The canvas stands slightly outside of the frame as well as having a 1cm gap between the canvas and the frame. Our floating frames come in a choice of colours and are 4cm thick.

Please be aware that your canvas is mounted to the floating frame and fixed permanently in place by our trained staff - therefore the frame is not sold separately. The prices from this list are an additional cost, because we add these frames to your canvas print. Read more about what floating frames are.
